In this field, professional experience of translating on the topics of music, art and photography, intersects with some of my greatest passions. Indeed, photography was the subject of my final thesis for the Diploma in Translation and Interpreting at the Scuola Superiore Interpreti e Traduttori in Pisa. I have curated and participated in photographic exhibitions. I am a drummer, I have translated numerous data sheets for musical instruments for one of the best known online marketplaces. Moreover, among my first work experiences I can boast of working at the tourist information office in the city of my birth, a point of departure for discovering the artistic and cultural treasures of Tuscany.

Work experience and personal passions have enabled me to build up over time an ever-increasingly extensive specialist glossary of terminology used in the music, art and photography sectors.

I have worked for many years on translating, localising, transcreating and editing descriptions of fashion and luxury products. I have learned on the job how important it is to make the right choice of every single word for building a successful brand.

Medicine and Pharmaceuticals

For me medical research is increasingly becoming not only an interest but also a source of work. It’s a field from which I am making a living by investing in updating courses and specific training.

Videogames

I find myself increasingly often translating the content of videogames, a field as fascinating as it is challenging because of the character limit constraints and because of the informal language and the dense wordplay used.
