Specialisation

Specialisation Fields

I put no limits on opportunities to translate your words, but I want to let you know which are the fields in which I have the most experience, skills or interest. Who knows, maybe these might be the very fields in which you would like to your words to make an impact. Or maybe not. Whatever your field, I am willing to go in whatever direction you choose.

Gastronomy and Tourism

With years of experience as an in-house translator at a multinational tourism company, I can switch confidently between the specialised language used by travel agencies and airlines and informative and promotional content aimed at travellers.

Marketing and E-commerce

My experience ranges from data sheets for every imaginable product on the best known marketplaces to meeting the requirements of businesses and brands seeking to conquer new markets for corporate communication and advertising.

Fashion and Luxury

I have worked for many years on translating, localising, transcreating and editing descriptions of fashion and luxury products. I have learned on the job how important it is to make the right choice of every single word for building a successful brand.

Medicine and Pharmaceuticals

For me medical research is increasingly becoming not only an interest but also a source of work. It’s a field from which I am making a living by investing in updating courses and specific training.

Music, Art and Photography

As a drummer and fan of music, art and photography, I enjoy exploring these fields. For many years I have been building up specific glossaries relating to musical instruments, philosophy, photographic and museum exhibitions.

Videogames

I find myself increasingly often translating the content of videogames, a field as fascinating as it is challenging because of the character limit constraints and because of the informal language and the dense wordplay used.
